Users not Deleted from iFolder when Removed from eDirectory

In certain situations user accounts have been removed from eDirectory, yet, are never removed from the iFolder user list. 

 

When this happens, first log into the iFolder admin console (https://<ip_of_iFolder_server>/admin then select the Servers tab), and check the Identity Sync interval, and then check the Delete member Grace interval to ensure that an adequate amount of time has passed for the user to have been removed.  Typically, that is one to two times the sync interval, plus the grace interval.

 

If an adequate amount of time has passed and the deleted user is still in the iFolder user list, there is a condition that has been seen where the users do NOT get removed from the flaim database.  This issue has been reported to engineering and currently there is no workaround to the problem.
