Situation

Connect to Oracle RAC with BDI adapter.

Resolution

BDI adapter can use OCI to connect to an Oracle RAC. The OCI client (available from Oracle web site) must be installed and configured for BSM to communicate with it. When creating the adapter, put the connection string (for example, oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver|jdbc:oracle:oci:@host1:1521:sid|select sysdate from dual) into the "Database Type" field.
