Environment

Privileged Account Manager

Situation

Recent registration of new agent host was successful, but shows offline in Host Console:
Info, Registration successful for sd145 to 192.168.13.142:29120
Warning, Authentication token is inactive
Error, Peer authorization error unknown@servername accessing regclnt.svcInfo

Agent has been successfully registered previously at some point, but is recently being reported as "offline" by Manager:
Warning, Authentication token is inactive
Error, Peer authorization error unknown@servername accessing regclnt.svcInfo

Resolution

Please verify the registered agent's host time and manager's host time are in sync. Infrastructure servers should share a common time source and there should be some internal ntp-type hierarchical service for the network to rely on.

Once time is appropriately in sync, the agent host should automatically check the service registration and appear as "online" in the Hosts Console.

Cause

Manager and Agent server time has not been synchronized, so peer certificate verification will fail.
