Situation
Groupwise client and server install fails with Openmotif error on SLES 11
Resolution
GroupWise requires openmotif package to be installed on the server. GroupWise software includes the openmotif rpm by default.
- Launch a terminal konsole on the linux server and change directory to GroupwiseSoftware/common directory
- Run the following commnad on the terminal konsole
rpm -ivh openmotifxx-libs.rpm - Now proceed with the GroupWise installation
