Environment

Novell eDirectory 8.8 for Linux

Situation

Apache will not start and give www bad group error

Resolution

  1. Add wwwrun user to www group using consoleone or iManager.
  2. Enable LUM for wwwrun user using iManager and select www group while doing it.
  3. Restart NAMCD deamon (rcnamcd restart)
  4. Start apache (rcapache2 start)
