Environment

NSL7sp1
Microsoft .Net framework 1.x or 2.x
DotNet applications installed on the workstation

Situation

NSL7sp1 does not work with .net application
Sldotnetsso.exe or sldotnetsso64.exe does not load (view in Windows Task Manager)

Resolution

Upgrade Microsoft .Net Framework to version 3 or later.

If .net 3.x is not found in the registry, Sldotnetsso will not load.

Additional Information

One of the primary features of NSL7sp1 is improved .net support.  This requires .net framework 3 or higher.  To determine the dotnet version, SecureLogin reads the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP
Sub keys specify the versions installed, and the path to the .net files

For example, on a Windows 7 workstation, "Control Panel, Programs" does not show dot net 3.5, but
the above registry key shows a sub key for 3.5, which lists the following path to the .net files:   C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v3.5
