Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 10

Situation

In version 10.2.x and all previous releases there is no way to export or import closest server rules.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.3 - see KB 7005455 "ZENworks Configuration Management SP3 (10.3) - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
As of version 10.3, this is now possible using the following zman commands:
location-export-rules-to-file (loctf)
Location.export.rules.to.file.help

location-import-rules-from-file (locff)
Location.import.rules.from.file.help

location-copy-rules (loccp)
Location.copy.rules.help
