Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 2 - 10.2
Inventory scan runs on the device, and the Inventory tab of the Z Icon shows the inventory has run. Looking at the device in ZCC however shows that the inventory has not been updated with the scan.
This is fixed in version 10.3 - see KB 7005455 "ZENworks Configuration Management SP3 (10.3) - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
The problem is that GUID-error.xml scan files were created for the device and uploaded to the server. The -error.xml files were uploaded to the <ZENWORKS_HOME>\work\collection\inventory directory, and processed as full scan files, which would overwrite the actual scan files. The presence of -error.xml files in the <ZENWORKS_HOME>\work\collection\inventory directory can indicate this problem is happening.
