Situation
This problems happen when you install client via msiexec utility (or via ZEN using GroupWise MSI file).
Resolution
This has been reported to the development.
Additional Information
If you install the client, for instance via:
msiexec /i GroupWise.msi /qn
there is no error reported and you can afterwards start it and login in any GroupWise mailbox. When you then view properties of any existing mail, you get an error to display information and are prompted to save / install GroupWise temporary file.
Similarly, when you open any address book and view properties of a contact, the client cannot display information in Summary tab.
The problem is caused by missing following applications on a Windows XP or7 workstation:
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
Microsoft WSE 3.0 Runtime
MSXML 4.0 SP2
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
Microsoft WSE 3.0 Runtime
MSXML 4.0 SP2
Alternate solution would be editing shipped GroupWise.MSI file and include MSXML.MSI among dependencies install process. Or prior to GroupWise client install, run the MSXML.MSI .
