Situation

GroupWise MTA service on Windows 2003 server stops every night at the same time

Resolution

eDirectory User Synchronization is configured to run at 1 AM and can be turned off for the Windows MTA if another MTA is configured to run it.

eDirectory User Synchronization is normally turned off by default but it has been noted in GroupWise 8 to be on when an MTA service for Windows is installed.
