Situation

There are multiple LDAP servers defined for Novell Cluster Services (NCS) to use in the file /etc/opt/novell/ncs/clstrlib.conf.
NCS will not use the next available LDAP server when the first LDAP server becomes unavailable for whatever reason.

Resolution

There is currently no workaround for this, other than to manually edit/etc/opt/novell/ncs/clstrlib.confand replace the old LDAP server with a working LDAP server.
