Novell Cluster Services 1.8.4
Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 2

Situation

After issuing a Novell Cluster Services (NCS) console command, for examplecluster status, it is seen that the process from ncs-configd.pyis causing high utilization.


Resolution

Make sure that the LDAP server which NCS is using is available.
This LDAP server can be found in /etc/opt/novell/ncs/clstrlib.conf
