Import purchase records do not import or import with errors using ZCM 10.
Error: No new items were created. This looks like a duplicate import.Fatal Error - Duplicate Import File.
Error: Input field exceed database Column size, skipping record.
Duplicate record errors have also been seen with Input field Exceeds database size.


The formats accepted are very specific.  Please refer to ZCM documentation. Section 1  Licenses Compliance | Section 9.9 Working with Import Files for more information.
It maybe helpful to first import into a ZCM test system to verify that the file is correct.  If there are problem you can delete the records and re-import quickly.
The import file needs to be scrutinized for formating problems.
Insight files with an OrderDate field must use a slash and not a dash.
Multiple fields have a maximum field length of 32 characters.  Having more than 32 characters can cause a duplicate record error. 

Additional Information

Unique product is determined by the fields: Manufacturer, ProductName, Version, ProductType, and LicensesPerPackage.
Troubleshoot the file by taking the header and the first few rows of data.  Another option is to strip out fields not required for troubleshooting.
