NDSD consumes all available memory

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 2
Dynamic Storage Technology (DST)

Situation

When a DST job (To move data from the Source volume to the Shadow volume) is started, ndsd will consume all available memory.
In some cases it is seen that the DST job seems to finish, however after verifying it appeared that  the job did not complete and the source volume has been dismounted.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is scheduled to be released with the next maintenance patch.
