Situation

When protecting a Windows source machine with a volume that is mounted to a folder without a drive letter assigned, the validation under drive configuration section fails and prevents the job from starting.

Resolution

Mounted volumes are not supported for Snapshot or Block-based protection contracts. However, these are supported for one-time conversions.
