Situation
This article discusses information regarding following error:
Controller stopped due to fatal error. Error details: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The device is not ready.
When performing a one time server-sync conversion, it fails during the file copy process with the error mentioned above. From the diagnostics you will see that the current file that was getting copied is "\ Program Files\Common Files\McAfee\Engine\avvscan.dat".
Resolution
Stop McAfee anti-virus software related services and retry this conversion once again.
