Modified Initrd file is not replaced properly during update

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 2 - 10.2 Imaging

Situation

After updating to 10.2.1, if the initrd file was previously modified, the imaging kernel would not load and the error: 'Could not find the ZENworks Installation Source' would be displayed.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.3 - see KB 7005455 "ZENworks Configuration Management SP3 (10.3) - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

The Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\share\tftp\boot\linux and root files are updated correctly during the 10.2 to 10.2.1 update, however the previously modified Initrd file was not.  So when PXE booting a workstation to do an image, the kernel was looking for drivers in the old 10.2 file path.  This problem does not happen if the Initrd file is the default.
