Situation
When the owner of a shared address book makes changes to an existing contact the change shows for all on-line users.
The change is not getting synced to caching users.
Resolution
This is working as designed.
Personal address book entries are not retrieved every time when send/retrieve from caching mode is made. They are retrieved according to the schedule configured under the advanced tab of the GroupWise account properties page: "Refresh address books and rules every x days"
Caching users should click Accounts | Retrieve Contacts in order to update the shared address book.

An on-line owner of a shared address book makes changes to an existing contact, such as adding a fax #. This change shows for all on-line users.
Caching users click Accounts | Send Retrieve but the change is not downloaded to the caching mailbox.

Waiting for the send/retrieve interval does not download the change either.
Caching users can click Accounts | Retrieve Contacts and the shared address book is then updated.
