Imaging driver for e1000 doesn't load on some machines

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Support Pack 1 - ZDM7 SP1 IR3a

Situation

Network driver will not load for the e1000 network card on some systems with the ZDM 7 SP1 IR3a imaging engine.  Imaging on these same systems worked with the previous release.

Resolution

To obtain a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3484245 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
