Situation

Novell Access Manager 3.1 Support Pack 1 Interim Release 3 was release march 17 2010. When accessing dl.netiq.com, neither the Novell Access Manager 3.1 Support Pack 1 Interim Release 2 or Novell Access Manager 3.1 Support Pack 1 Interim Release 3 patch are available. Where can I download either of these patches?

Resolution

Novell Access Manager 3.1 Support Pack 1 Interim Release 3 was retracted due to an issue that would cause a restart to the Linux Access Gateway (LAG). When Novell Access Manager 3.1 Support Pack 1 Interim Release 3 was released, it obsoleted Novell Access Manager 3.1 Support Pack 1 Interim Release 2.

For customers that downloaded the IR3 patch and are experiencing LAG restarts, apply the Novell Access Manager 3.1 Support Pack 1 Interim Release 2 lagrpms, available from ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/AM_31_SP1_IR2_lagrpms.tar.gz.

An updated IR3 (named IR3a) will be  available shortly.
