Situation
After applying Patch 3, new Role Based Services assignments to tasks or Roles to specific users don't seem to work. If a user is assigned a task or role and this user accesses iManager in "Assigned Access" mode, the user will not be able to see the task or role.
Resolution
The problem is that after the upgrade, when adding a role to a user, the following info is added:
- rbsAssignedRoles2
- groupMembership pointing to the role
but it misses the "Security Equal" reference to the role, and therefore the user does not have rights to the object.
To work-around the problem the Security Equal value can be added manually. The issue has been addressed by engineering and a definitive fix will be available with the release of Patch 4.
