Linux GroupWise Monitor does not save the input provided through Web Console

Novell GroupWise 8
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10
Open Enterprise Server (OES) Linux based

Situation

GroupWise Monitor on Linux does not save the input provided through web console in Preference -- Setup -- Notify.
The changes do not show up on the web console (blank) and does not save in Monitor.xml either. The same works with  Windows Monitor application.

Resolution

Reported to Engineering.
 
Workaround:
  1. Stop monitor agent by  typing the following command on the Terminal
    crcgrpwise-ma stop
  2. Edit the monitor.xml file located in /opt/novell/groupwise/agents/share directory by typing the following command on the Terminal
    vi /opt/novell/groupwise/agents/share/monitor.xml
  3. Make the changes and save the files.
  4. Start the Monitor agent by typing the following command
    rcgrpwise-ma start

Steps to Duplicate:
  1. Install GroupWise Monitor on Linux
  2. Launch web console http://server:8200
  3. Click on Preferences -> Setup -> Notify
  4. Try to provide information in the following:
    1. Notification List:
    2. Mail Domain Name:
    3. Relay Address:
  5. Click on Submit

The information will be lost when submit is clicked.
