Environment
Novell iPrint for Linux
Situation
Printing is slow when banners are configured for one or more printer agents.
Some printers show a status of RED IDLE.
The /psmstatus page's "iPrint Manager Internal" status shows "Bad". "Failed Object Lock Operations" shows red.
The /var/opt/novell/iprint/[PrintManager].psm/ndpsmmon.log shows messages of:

Resolution
Apply novell-iprint-server RPM date 12MAR2010 (novell-iprint-server-6.2.20100312) or later. The fix is available in the Channel.
Workaround:
Unassociate banners from all printer agents and restart the Print Manager (rcnovell-ipsmd restart )
