WebAccess is unable to view/download documents within shared folders

Novell GroupWise 2012

Situation

Steps to duplicate.:

1) While logged into the GroupWise client as User1, drag a document into a shared folder (shared with User2).

2) Log into the GroupWise client as User2.

3) Verify the document can be  opened or viewed without any problems.

4) Log into WebAccess as User2

5) Attempt to view the document and the following error will appear:

Unable to view file
A failure occurred in the document conversion process. The document cannot be viewed at this time.
Download file

In addition, the download link fails.

Resolution

Reported to engineering.

Additional Information

To workaround the issue:

1) While logged into the GW client as User1, check the document Sharing properties:

2) Change either the General User Access or add specific user access and Enable view:

3) Refresh WebAccess and User2 will now be able to view the document.
