Situation

ERROR: "Error while deleting"
ERROR: "Error removing file : Input/output error"
Options provided are Cancel, Skip All, Skip
Unable to delete a folder on a mapped NSS Volume using nautilus

Resolution

Reported to Engineering.
 
Workaround :-
  1. Delete all the contents of the parent folder you wish to delete prior to deleting the parent folder and then you should be able to delete the parent folder.
  2. Use commandline :-
    1. Open Terminal window.
    2. run command "rm -rf <directory>"
