Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows 7

Situation

Using the Novell Client 2 IR1a or Novell Client 2 SP1 on Windows 7 Ultimate Edition x64 or x86 results in being unable to setup or use 802.1x authentication.

Resolution

Update to Novell Client for Windows 2 SP1 IR4 (or later)
