When using a LDAP browser to authenticate to a server, receive [error 81] Can't connect LDAP server, error

Situation

When testing LDAP connectivity with a LDAP browser you are unable to login to the server.  The browser returns the following error:
'[error 81] Can't contact LDAP server'

Resolution

Check in iManager to see of the certificates exist for the server.  If the certificates are missing  use iManger to recreate them for the server.

If the certificates exist, then in iManager check the LDAP server object.  Look in the connections tab.  In this tab make sure the server certificate is set to SSL CertificateDNS.  If the server certificate is blank, use the browse button to find the SSl CertificateDNS
