Novell ZENworks Endpoint Security Management 4.1
Situation
With Novell eDirectory and user-assigned policies, the ZENworks Endpoint Security Client prompts the user to log in even if the user has already logged in to eDirectory through the Novell Client.
Resolution
Use Novell Client 4.91 SP5 for Windows XP/2003 with patch 491psp5_login_6.zip (or later). The patch includes a fix that allows the ZENworks Endpoint Security Client to receive the user credentials from the Novell Client.
Additional Information
This applies only to the ZENworks Endpoint Security Client on Windows XP. Single-sign on is not supported on Windows 2000, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
