User Cannot Login to GroupWise Mailbox,

Situation

User attempts to login to GroupWise mailbox and receives the following error:



POA log file shows the following:

15:12:30 481 C/S Login Windows  Net Id=user. ::GW Id=user :: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
15:12:30 481 Error: User Database access has been denied [D05A] User:user  (user)


Resolution

The user tried to access a mailbox that does not have a password using the wrong NetWare® user ID, in a post office with security set to high.

Set a password on the user’s mailbox. See Creating or Changing a Mailbox Password in Users in the GroupWise 8 Administration Guide.
