Situation
NSS Volume was accidentally deleted.
Resolution
Launch nssmu.
Select volumes.
Select F8 more option.
Select F6 salvage option. You may receive a message about not being able to connect to the vldb but the volume should be recovered successfully.

Additional Information
Note that this will not be possible if the pool has also been deleted, nor if the volume was deleted more than 4 days previous to the recovery attempt.
The remaining necessary work would be to either adjust the login script or update the home directory information for any required users to allow a proper login script execution. The home space information would have been deleted when the volume was deleted, and so the home variable within the login script would have no value.
