Additional Information

Notes:
User has more than one archive store and wants to consolidate the archives.

For example:
Archive store #1 is in C:\Novell\archive\2008
Archive store #2 is in C:\Novell\archive\2009
Archive store #3 is in C:\Novell\archive\2010

User wants to take all of the archived items from the 2008 and 2009 archives and bring them into the 2010 archive folder. When changing the archive path in the GroupWise client | Tools | Options | Environment | File Location | Archive Directory from C:\Novell\archive\2008 to C:\Novell\archive\2010 the GroupWise client will prompt with the message "Do you want to move the contents of your existing archive 'C:\Novell\archive\2008' to your new archive 'C:\Novell\archive\2010'?

If the user answers 'Yes' to that question, then the GroupWise client will overwrite the user and msg databases in the 2010 folder with the files by the same name from the 2008 folder. At that point, any existing items archived in the 2010 folder will be overwritten by items from the 2008 folder, effectively deleting all archived items from the year 2010.
