WOL Stops working after upgrading to ZCM 10.2.2 when using the Sybase Database

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 2 - 10.2

Situation

WOL will cease to function after ZCM 10.2.2 is applied if the server is using the Sybase Database.
ZCM 10.2.2 servers running Oracle and MS-SQL continue to operate normally.
 
Furthermore, the ZCC.Log will contain a WOL Exception error similar to the following:
 
com.novell.zenworks.wol.WOLException: Failed to wakeup devices
 at com.novell.zenworks.wol.WakeOnLanDirectImpl.insertWOLActionToQueue(WakeOnLanDirectImpl.java:194)

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.3 - see KB 7005455 "ZENworks Configuration Management SP3 (10.3) - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
