Novell Remote Manager giving "Unable to map query language to local string" error

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux
Novell Remote Manager

Situation

In the /var/log/messages you would see the following error when the user logged into Novell Remote Manager:

Error: "Nov 17 13:57:46 COBOES8 httpstkd[26847]: httpstkd: Unable to map query language to locale string. Language:en-ca  UA-CPU: x86  Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate  User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)  Host: coboes8:8009  Connection: Keep-Alive  Cookie: httpstkUsername=.user.novell; nailsSessionId=172.30.122.36/nails/1253208413/1253207389-checksum//0; outline=111111000     Length:5"

Key part of the error message:
httpstkd: Unable to map query language to locale string. Language:en-ca

Resolution

In the  /etc/opt/novell/httpstkd.conf add an entry for the en-ca language. Or the language that you are missing.

  lang en-ca en_CA.UTF8

Then restart novell-httpstkd.
