Incorrect timezone detection when accessing GW 2012 WebAccess via Access Manager 3.1.4

Novell Access Manager 3.1

Situation

When connecting to a WebAccess 2012 server that sits behind Novell Access Manager 3.1.4 with the 'Change your Time Zone' option set to "Use your workstation's time zone", then open the calendar in WebAccess, the appointment times do not reflect the correct time zone settings.

If the WebAccess 2012 server is moved in front of Access Manager, then the issue does not happen.

Resolution

Reported to engineering.

Additional Information

Workaround: With the 'Change your Time Zone' option set to "Always use the following time zone", appointment times will reflect the chosen time zone regardless of where WebAccess is sitting, in front of or behind Novell Access Manager.
