Environment
Novell Cluster Services 1.8.4
Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux
Novell iManager 2.7
Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux
Novell iManager 2.7
Situation
It is not possible to change the IP address from a cluster resource using Novell iManager.
The IP address will return to the original value after the changes have been saved, the original IP address will also be used in the load- and unload scripts.
This only seems to happen as soon as the cluster object is located two or more Organizational Untis (OU) deep.
For example:
cn=cls,ou=clusters,ou=services,o=org
