IP Grouping not displaying in Patch Management Console

Environment

Novell ZENworks Patch Management 6.4 sp1 (ZPM)

Situation

Dynamic IP Grouping was introduced into Patch Management to automatically create groups based around IP addresses, this identifies devices within the same network location.  Despite this being an automatic process the groups are not showing in the Management Console.

Resolution

IP Grouping uses the inventory information collected from the 'Network Adapters' option.  If 'Network Adapters' is unselected the IP Groups will not show.

To collect network adapter details, in the ZPM Management Console:

Options> Policies> [select policy action]> Inventory Collection Options> Modify
Check 'Network Adapters'

Select the 'Network Adapters' option for each policy action that needs to be grouped, if multiple policies exist.
