Environment
Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 3
Situation
User logs in from a MAC OSX 10.7 using the AFP protocol.
The AFP service on the OES2 SP3 server has been configured to use the Deffie-Hellman 2 Authentication Mode.
Users Passwords are set to expire.
On the MAC selecting > Go > Connect to server > afp://IPAddressOfServer > Connect > provide credentials > Connect works right up to the time that the supplied users password expires. At this point a Change Password Dialog should be displayed.
With any other Authentication Mode a Change Password dialog is displayed.

Additional Information
One other thing noticed during testing was that the DHX
Authentication Mode will also use up all Grace Logins before
displaying the Change Password dialog.
The DHX2 method displays the Change Password dialog as soon as the password expires without using any of the Grace Logins.
