GWIA unable to create queues

Environment

Products:
Novell GroupWise 7 Support Pack 3 Hot Patch 3

Situation

Symptoms:
GWIA cannot create queues when its restarted after renaming them .
Error " Cannot find Domain directories  load Message Transfer Agent", on logger screen.

Resolution

Corrective Action:
  1. Launch ConsoleOne , connect to the GWIA owning Domain
  2. Launch GWIA properties- GroupWise- Network Address and  Change the Message transfer port to 0
  3. Validate and Recover the Domain and restart the Domain and GWIA. This should create new queues in the GWIA directory.

Notes:
The Resolution is applicable when the GWIA and its owning Domain(MTA) are on the same server.
