Aside from a comprehensive Novell SUSE Linux content coverage, the latest Novell ZENworks Patch Management 6.4 SP2 offers many new key features and benefits that optimize the management of Windows and non-Windows patch content in a heterogeneous environment, including:
The broadest Novell SUSE Linux content coverage: Now provides the deepest coverage for Novell SUSE Linux content outside of Novell’s native tools to deliver a single automated patch and remediation solution across all systems and servers. The latest version of Novell ZENworks Patch Management now supports:
Better management of Windows and non-Windows patches: Novell ZPM’s new content architecture now makes it easier to obtain and manage subscription-based Non-Windows content and prerequisite patches alongside Windows patches and report on them from a single console to reduce TCO.
Updates released are designed for the ZPM Update Server but may update other components as they are required. Updates include any previous released items, excluding Service Packs and Patches. Any future release will include these Updates.

How will I know if this patch is applied successfully?
- There are two main ways to find out if this has been applied successfully. Add/Remove Programs entry will be present, but it will not be able to be uninstalled. This entry will also show in the inventory of the Update Agent.
- The Product Version will change in the Web UI under About and Options > Support to 6.4.2.1573
Where are the installation logs placed during execution?
The installer will create a log at %ProgramFiles%\Common
