Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 2 - 10.2

Situation

The controlling workstation receives the following error when attempting remote operations:

Failed to connect to server.  Socket error= #


Resolution

A conflict was found with the software Sanctuary Device Control.  If the ZCM agent is installed first, remote operations will work successfully.
