Calendar Publisher does not update automatically, unless tomcat is restarted

Changes made to the calendar like modifying an appointment or adding or removing an appointment , do not get updated automatically at the Calendar Web Publishing.


  • Verify that the Calendar Publisher server is configured with the proper primary ipaddress. Go to GroupWise System Operations > Web Calendar Publishing Hosts and configure to use the primary IP address to avoid IP mismatch between the POA and the Calendar Publisher. 
  • Verify that the Calendar Host server's firewall is not blocking the notifications from the POA. Add the Tomcat port (port 8080) to the firewall exceptions and modify the TCP port in ConsoleOne GroupWise System Operations > Web Calendar Publishing Hosts so that there are no conflicts.
