Situation
- Unable to log in to Sentinel Control Center
- Error: The INSERT statement conflicted with the CHECK constraint "AUDIT_RECORD_P_20090929000000_DC". The conflict occurred in database "ESEC", table "dbo.AUDIT_RECORD_P_20090929000000", column "DATE_CREATED". (Table and record names may vary.)
- Events not being logged to database
Resolution
Ensure that the system is not writing to the P_MAX partition.
- Go to the Sentinel Data Manager Partitions Tab
- Select each table in the Table drop-down in turn and check if the name of the table listed as Online Current is P_MAX
- If it is select the Add tab and add another partition
Additional Information
Work with the Database Administrator (DBA) to ensure that the database is correctly specified and sized.
