Situation

Is it possible to send print jobs from an OES Linux server console running iPrint to an iPrint configured printer? 
How can I test printing from the OES Linux iPrint server to anetwork printer?

Resolution

It is possible to send print jobs from an OES Linux server using the following syntax:
lp -d [PA Name]< [Filename]

An example that syntax usage is:
lp -d Room312Printer < myDocument.txt

Additional Information

This method of printing does not use the printer driver.  No rendering of the job data occurs.  Therefore, only text data will be formatted properly at the printer.
