Situation

How to have non-GroupWise users appear in the System Address Book.

Resolution

Create  an Non-GroupWise Domain 
        1.  Right-click on the GroupWise System and select New/Non GroupWise Domain
        2.  Give the Non GroupWise Domain a Name and click OK
        3.  Right-click on the Non GroupWise domain and select New/External Post Office.
        4.  Give the post office a name and click OK, for example INET.  
       

Now create external users under the External Post Office:
        1. Right-click on the External Post Office and select New | External User.
        2. In the External User go to the Internet Addressing Tab and Check both Override boxes.
        3. Put in the user Name and Internet Domain name that the e-mail is to go to.
        4. In the Identification Tab put in User Given Name and Last Name along with other information you desire to add.

These users will now show up in the System Address Book.


Last Item is Linking the Non GroupWise Domain to the GWIA
        1.  Connect to the Domain that the GWIA is connected to on the GroupWise System
        2.  Right Click and go to GroupWise Utility and Link Configuration
        3.  Highlight the Non GroupWise Domain on the Outbound Links and double click.
        4. Select Link Type and select Gateway, make sure the Gateway Link is GWIA and the Return Path is the Domain the GWIA is on.
        5.  Close and Save.

These users will now show up in the System Address Book
