For Microsoft SQL and Oracle Databases, please follow their best practice guidelines for database backup and restore procedures.
In the event the database corrupts and there is not a recent backup, it is recommended to contact the database vendor for data recovery services.
For Zones with Microsoft SQL or Oracle Databases, use the normal support channels to open an incident.
For Sybase, there is no longer an option to buy single support incidents with that company; it may be necessary to search for other companies offering recovery services for Sybase databases if there is no suitable backup.

Once a ticket has been opened with the database vendor, open a Service Request, so that Novell can assist if necessary to resolve the issue.
