No notification from Notify if an appointment is posted by a user different than the owner

Situation

No notification from Notify if an appointment is posted by a user different than the owner

Resolution

This is a known issue with older version of GroupWise client and it has been fixed in GroupWise 8 Support Pack 1

Additional Information

Steps to Duplicate:
  1. Login to GroupWise client with "user1".
  2. Create a new calender name "sharecal" and share this calender with "user2" and give "user2" full rights.
  3. Login as "user2" and accept the shared calender and create a posted appointment in the shared calender.
  4. Now login as "user1" and launch Notify.
  5. Notice there is no notificatation for that posted appointment even if it is set to notify 5 minutes before the appointment.
  6. If "user1" creates a posted appointment, he will receive the notification for the same.
