Novell Open Workgroup Suite Small Business Edition (NOWS2 SBE)
Situation
A second server is installed in a NOWS2SBE tree. A new container named
after the servers host name is created with a second set of proxy usrs. IE:
edirectoryProxy, groupwiseProxy, ifolderProxy, etc.
When the eDirectory Administration or GroupWise User Administration is launched
an error -669 is returned depending on which server it is launched from.
Resolution
The problem is the fully distinguished name is not used. What can happen is the link puts the Proxy user with out the fully distinguished name.
It is doing an ldap contextless login. What can happen is the wrong Proxy user can be returned so the password passed through to the user is incorrect.
Error -669 will be returned if the wrong Proxy user is returned.
Bug 531016 has been created for this issue.
The current workaround is to launch iManager and use the sbsadmin or admin user.
If launching the administration console from one specific server works continue to use that server.
