"Message Attachments | Open in a new window/View in existing window" option missing

Situation

"Message Attachments | Open in a new window/View in existing window" option missing in GroupWise 8 Client
Unable to make Message Attachments open in a new window
Unable to make Message Attachments view in existing window

Resolution

This was an intentional design change and has been Reported to Engineering.
 
Follow the steps listed below to change the setting:
  1. Click Start | Run and type regedit .
  2. Browse to HKEY_USERS\SecondLastKey\Software\Novell\GroupWise\Client\Setup .
  3. Search for the key "Message Attach DoubleClick " and change the value to 1 or 0.
    1 is to Open the message in new window.
    0 is to View the message in existing window.
