Environment

Novell Identity Manager Roles Based Provisioning Module 3.6.1

Situation

When using the DNQUery control on a form with a query that has a parameter in
it, if the value used to pass to the query parameter contains a $ then the
following error is generated.

PortletContainerImpl: failed to run the portlet: 'ParamListPortlet'.

Resolution

This was found to be a bug within Novell Identity Manager Roles Based Provisioning Module 3.6.1. This behavior has been fixed in the latest public patch for Novell Identity Manager Roles Based Provisioning Module 3.6.1.
