Error: "Cannot save updated query list. Please contact your System Administrator"

Situation

When trying to save the result of a search in the "Search List" portlet, recieve the following message : Error: "Cannot save updated query list. Please contact your System Administrator"

Resolution

This error is usually caused by not having rights to an attribute.
The user must have rights to write to this attribute. This can be configured in the Identity Vault server. Place this on the users container and have it inherited.
